cramps and no period

i’m 4 days late, cd 41, been having cramps on and off for over a whole week as if i had my actual period but i still haven’t gotten it, i took a test the day before my period was due and it was negative. i read that implantation can occur as late as 12dpo, but is that actually likely ? i’ve only been pregnant once, which did end in miscarriage, and i didn’t get a positive till almost a full week after period was due so i’m not sure if i just have late implantation or maybe that’s why it ended in a miscarriage. i honestly don’t “feel” pregnant but also i’ve been having all my same period symptoms so maybe i am ? idk i’m scared to take a test and see a negative so i haven’t taken one yet, but has anybody been through anything similar ? 😕
