Cautiously Hopeful

On Tuesday, I went in for my first ultrasound. According to all of my dates, I should be dating at 9 weeks 1 day. After quite awhile if her digging around with the transvaginal ultrasound, she couldn’t find anything so she sent be for bloodwork hoping that there was just a shadow. Bloodwork came back promising at about 32,000 so I had to do another blood draw this morning (Thursday). Levels dropped about 2,000 so weren’t a good indicator either way. Had another ultrasound at 5pm. She found the sac and the fetal pole but couldn’t find a heartbeat. But. The sac and pole are measuring at 6ish weeks instead of the 9 that we thought I was based on dates which would explain no visible heartbeat right now. So I go back on Monday for more labs and then for another ultrasound in 10 days. So it’s a cautious hopeful right now. Playing the wait and see game.

Anyone have any experience with this? Good or bad? I’m trying not to stress but that is MUCH easier said than done.
