Abortion tips?

So I just found out I’m pregnant but we aren’t really in the best place to have a child right now we aren’t out on our own still in his parents basement and he has a child already that he’s fighting a court battle for and everyone’s pretty tapped on money since helping pay for lawyers for court and all. Has anyone had an abortion and have any tips that would help me get through this? I know it’s gonna be hard regardless but was just wondering if there was anything I can do before getting it that would help the pain of it or anything like that?

I had the pill and there was a lot of cramping and some clots but nothing worse than my worse period in terms of pain and clots. Nothing I passed looked or resembled anything that looked like a baby or fetus or anything like that. I would take it easy for a few days, get comfy clothes, and relax as much as you can. Get those thick overnight pads and have all your snacks and stuff by you so you don't have to do too much. For me, it wasn't that bad or traumatizing but everyone is different

I would recommend the surgical procedure under sedation. It was quick, pretty much totally painless (at most I felt some pressure), smooth and easy recovery.

The pill could be just as traumatic. I’ve done the pill and my tips to you are to get comfy clothes and a heating pad. Take pain meds 30 mins before you take the pills at home and just rest and watch your favorite show. When you feel like something is coming out just sit on the toilet and don’t look. I made the mistake of looking and I saw some graphic stuff. That was the hardest part. I was a little messed up after but I know it was the best choice and it still is for us.

Honestly abortion ￼is that last resort hun. I would look in to having the baby and putting the baby up for adoption. I’m just throwing out ideas so no one has to agree with me. All i’m saying is, really the bast case in your situation is having the baby and putting up for adoption, I promise you’ll regret getting an abortion, the suicide ￼rates are sky rocketing for women who have abortions, I would totally look into adoption. If adoption is not the right thing for you i completely understand, you need to do what’s best for you and your family, and i’ll support you in any decision you make! ❤️❤️

I’d get the surgical procedure done and request sedation or anesthesia. This way it’s taken care of in one sweep and you don’t run the risk of seeing anything that might traumatize you. Plus I’ve heard with the pills it’s a possibility that it won’t work and you’ll end up having to do the surgical procedure anyway. I had the surgical one at 7 weeks without sedation or anesthesia. I healed really fast and I’ve been fine physically. However mentally I’m up and down. I don’t regret it but to this day I still feel so much guilt. This is a messed up position to be in and I’m sorry you’re going through this.

I took the pill but they gave my medicine with it which did help with the cramps and pain .you might throw up I didn’t but I couldn’t stop shitting so just be ready to be in the bathroom.I was laying In my room most of the day and it was hard to eat anything but having him there if he could helps a lot emotionally and even talking about it because it’s hard and it can definitely feel lonely at time

I did a lot of research prior to having the procedure done and I personally chose to stay away from the pill. It didn’t seem like it was as effective, and it seemed like it would be a more painful process. I went the surgical route, I was put to sleep during the procedure and to be honest I really don’t remember much of anything from it. I was given Tylenol or something similar while I was there. Recovery wise it just kind of felt like period cramps, a little more intense. It was a lot emotionally. Just make sure you are 100% certain this is what you want to do

One of my best friends had an abortion. She told me it is really traumatic. She wanted the abortion and was glad she got it. But she told me it really fucked her up for a bit afterward. Just try to prepare yourself mentally.
