How long until you tightened up after birth?

My husband and I began having sex again after having our baby and I could feel I am much looser than normal. Obviously this is normal but I'm wondering when it should tighten or if it even will 😓.

I was tight again by the time we had sex at 2weeks pp. Talk to you doctor about pelvic floor support. That's the only thing that could possibly be "loose" your vagina is a muscle it was back to normal days if not hrs after birth

being “loose or tight” is kind of a misleading thing people talk about. being “loose” means your pelvic floor muscles have weakened from giving birth, not every woman will deal with it but it is common (like 35% of woman). you can visit a doctor and/or learn exercises that you can do to help restrengthen the muscles.

Uhm. It was super tight from 6 weeks onward. It took a few months to loosen back up.
