would you still start ?

i was supposed to start college in the spring semester (end of january), i just found out i’m pregnant, that would put my due date in may. the program is 2 years long. would it be worth it to still start ? or should i wait till after i have the baby ? i really need advice if you went through something similar, if everything worked out..

I think it depends a lot on your personal circumstances. Do you also need to work while studying? Do you have help around? I’m 39 weeks pregnant and studying two degrees. Got amazing grades throughout pregnancy and will finish one of the degrees in the spring, plan to start a masters next year. Baby will be born potentially this week and I have tons of exams coming in Oct/ Nov but I know I have my husband and family around to look after baby when I have to go and do the exams. My uni kept online classes as an option after covid which was a huge benefit, only have to go in for exams. I’m also not working so I can manage my time however I want to. If you feel like you can do it based on your circumstances, then do it 😊

I think it depends on the type of program it is. For instance in our nursing program we weren’t allowed to miss more than 1 day a semester. A girl in our class was pregnant…she missed one day to have the baby and was back in clinical less than 30 hours after giving birth!

I think you should start. It will honestly be a lit easier for you to get it out of the way now while the baby is small, even tho it will still be hard. You can call and see if there are breaks in between semesters or not too

Don’t have experience but personally I think you should just start. Having a baby shouldn’t set back on your personal goal. It might delay the process a little but I’m sure you and the school can work it out.

Call and ask if you have any breaks or what taking time off is like. I've been going to college part time time and I had my daughter while in school and I'll have my son next month. I'm able take time off and re-enroll without issue. If you have the option, I would start. School with kids is hard but not impossible regardless of you start now or wait

I would start, try to complete all requirements early so you don’t have to stress in May. You’ll have the summer off and you could go back in the fall. 
I don’t have experience but my best friend did it successfully with her son, never took time off and graduated on time.
You don’t want to postpone forever if you can avoid it. Hopefully you have support
