I’m 40 weeks and 2 days and my doctor is choosing to induce me in two days. My cervix is soft and I’m 70 percent effaced but it’s still closed. My OB told me he didn’t want to use the balloon method like I did with my first and just use Pitocin. Has anyone had an induction with a closed cervix with only Pitocin? I’m a little nervous cause my first I got induced at 8pm with the balloon and the next morning they broke my water and started Pitocin and had my son at 5pm. I’m really not trying to have a long labor, I know I can’t pick and choose but I just wanna hear stories and if your labor was quick with only Pitocin?
