Baby showers..

I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant and we’ve been discussing a baby shower.. between friend and family hand me downs our boy pretty much has everything he needs!! So my mom was discussing the option of a gift card shower!! I just wanted some other women’s opinions! Do you think it’s rude to request monetary gifts only? Of course we wouldn’t be mad if someone brought an actual gift, we would just prefer gift cards to spend however once he’s here!! Helpppp🤣
