So my sis in law is upset with me bc my husband and I declined her offer to taje my 17 month old an 1 hour and a half away to a Halloween festival. I think they have seen each other (in my home) maybe 9 times. I dont like the idea of her so far from me for the entire day. It would be moring until early evening. I also dont want her driving in a car with someone else. Maybe im overbearing, but its my only baby and she freaks out when I'm gone. Anyway, she hasnt texted back since my husband explained nicely, why we can't go. So I think shes mad or upset. If you can give me opinions in comments, that would be great. Do you agree with me? What age did you feel comfortable with a trip like this?? Or even to be away from you for a long time? Comments appreciated. Thank you.
