Did you actually use your double pushchair with toddler?

My son will be 3 when baby no.2 is born and I’m not sure wether to get a double pushchair or if it’s not worth it. He hardly uses one recently unless it’s a long day out but even then I don’t think we’d bring one anymore as he doesn’t nap in them. I’m just concerned I’ll struggle with baby and toddler when out on my own say shopping etc and feel like I need one then? But it’s a lot of money to spend if I’m not going to use it so how many of you actually found it useful for an older toddler still or am I stressing over nothing and it’s not worth the money?
