So I'm a single mom. 2 kids. And I'm looking at 2 warehouse positions.

Job one is from 4p to Midight. I can get my kids to daycare and even pick them up. My mom said she'd watch my kids but I worry about that as she hasn't even watched them an hour or 2 by herself. ( I try not to lean too much on my mom) so idk how this will go. I'll be coming back around 1a.

Benefits to this shift is that if my kids have an appointment I can make it. I don't have to call out. I can do whatever in the morning..

Also my son is special needs so he will be in a program that'll help him for a few hrs a day... I'll be able to pick him up and drop him off at that location for services and take him back to his daycare.

Drawbacks. So getting home at 1a. I don't get to see my kids. Not off on the weekends so.. I won't be able to see them much. That bothers me.

Job 2. From 10a to 6.30p . I like this bc I'll have the weekends with my kids. And it's almost in sync with my kids daycare..

Except they close when I just get off. So my mom would have to pick them up. But she wouldn't have to take care of them from 4p to.midnight.

Downfall is if my kids have appts like my sons autism diagnosis.. I'd have to take off work. I lost my last job like this bc I had to take off. Take off..take off. Then if daycare closes.. I can't get them.

Idk. Idk which to chose. I go for orientation to Job 1 tommorow.
