It’s like my period just restarted. I’m having heavy bleeding like I would normally with my period. I’m thinking stress ?

October 2nd-October 7th was my period. So I’m on my ovulation week. I went to the bathroom and noticed blood after I used the restroom. I used a tampon and it’s been bright red blood. I had a Starbucks coffee so it’s kinda made me jittery but I had unprotected sex on September 25th, a week after my last ovulation cycle. He didn’t finish in me but I guess I’m always paranoid. I’m thinking it’s stress related because my boss claimed she was moving her business but ended up not moving, I got into a car accident, and hurt my back all in the same week. This same bleeding happened in January and February of this year and my OBGYN said it was most likely stress related but I ended up having some uterine polyps. I had those removed in June. What do y’all think? Should I take a test or just stress?
