Can I still get anything out of the divorce ?

I’ve been married for 7 years and have 2 children together. We came to visit our native country over the summer. He ended up packing his belongings and filing for divorce over here (outside the US, I’m saying here cuz I haven’t been back the US). He has though. He left before the date we were supposed to return. Found out that he took all of his money and transferred it to the bank account outside the US. He took the family vehicle we have in the US and went to another state where his family is. I need advice as I am so lost and hopeless. My kids are with me and mind you he hasn’t asked about them in about two months or cared for them.

Edit: I was the one who brought him to the states after we got married. I worked so hard and helped with everything 50/50 financially. I have been a SAHM for the past two years and half while he has been making up to 12k/ week. He always wanted more from me… cleanliness and housewife duties but never wanted me to be a stay at home mom either.. he’d call me lazy and irresponsible and have also abused me verbally and physically.
