So what’s the deal with home dopplers? I keep reading that they heat up tissue or cause cavitation, but a lot of articles also say there’s no evidence that they cause harm. I used one with my daughter in 2019 and I loved it. I believe I asked my Dr last pregnancy and he said it’s fine, just don’t worry if you can’t find the HB.

Anyone knowledgeable in this area who can explain this to me? I’m 8w6d and I used it last night and today and found the baby’s HB after probably 20 minutes of trying each time and now I’m worried I’ve caused harm!

I’ve had 2 miscarriages and I’m so anxious!
