Sick while pregnant

I started amoxicillan 3 days ago for my sinus infection, today my cough is the worst it's been, I'm coughing every minute and sometimes no phlegm will come up at all. I've tried all the medicines. My doc said i could even take nyquil at night, I still have the cough. Anyone else have this? I want to cry.
