induction? Specialist in room?
I have SVT, which means my heart rate will get into the 160s-200s. For me, it’s very rare but it does happen. I was diagnosed a couple months ago in my 3rd pregnancy. My cardiologist wants there to be a cardiologist in the room during delivery because it can be triggered by labor and can happen right after so he wants someone there to handle that if that were to happen. I haven’t gotten to talk to my OB yet but how will that work? What if one isn’t available? Will this result in an induction so they can make sure one is there? I know you all can’t say but I’m wondering if anyone has had a specialist in the room while in labor?
