Bringing 2 year old on school field trip

My 5 year old has a field trip to an apple orchard today and i wanted to go with him but I don’t have a babysitter for my 2 year old, I asked the teacher if it would be okay and she hasn’t replied and todays the field trip, basically in the letter it says parents are free to show up at the farm they just have to pay their entrance fee, so I’d assume it would be okay to bring my 2 year old too? Like it’s a public venue there will definitely be family’s there on their own time and not just a school thing.
