Anyone else experience this?
I had my 12 week appointment on Thursday early afternoon. Everything looked great. That night around 10:45 pm, I get up to use the restroom and before I can even sit down I started bleeding. It wasn't enough to fill the toilet bowl, and it was never bright red. I called my 24 hr nurse line and was told to come to the emergency department.
I get there and am given an IV and had labs drawn. I had an ultrasound done as well. A few hours later a nurse comes back in and tells me my potassium is slightly low and she gives me medication for it. Then says "the doctor is getting your discharge papers". He comes in and tells me baby girl is just fine and still wiggling around, but has no idea where the blood came from. I had a 20 week and 6 week loss in 2021 and I'm worried about this baby too. The bleeding has slowed down and is mostly darker in color. I'm on pelvic rest and sometimes the bleeding stops altoghter. It's only visible when I wipe with maybe a few spots on a pad but nothing too crazy.
I thought it might be a subchorionic hemorrhage that was missed like I had with my second, but the printout he gave me with the results of the ultrasound said there was no evidence of one. Has anyone else experienced this and baby was ok?
