First of all let me start off with I’ve never even been prescribed opiates or taken them for any reason.

My OBs office ran a urine screen and found that I tested positive !! I know I have nothing to worry about because I don’t abuse of drugs but, now I am just so worried they will take my baby when I deliver. It giving me so much anxiety. Me and husband have tried for this baby for 5+ years and I would never do anything to hurt it. Is anyone familiar with the law in CA?

Also just a quick add a quick Google search shows what substances can trigger a false positive and the only thing I can think of is that I took Benadryl which I will never do again, even though it’s considered safe.

Edit* They are retesting, using a different batch of urine. I had asked them for a blood test though and they said it’s not necessary. They themselves said it was a false positive.

I really just needed to write this out and vent because it’s causing me a lot anxiety.
