We are teachers and recently the parents have been bad mouthing this teacher behind her back. I am also a parent at the school and heard from a Mum friend that this has been happening. I worked with the teacher today and told her that the Mum’s were bitching about her in a group chat.

The teacher was really upset and down on herself and went to management to report it. She didn’t mention my name but management told her to speak to the parents that run the group chat.

Now I have anxiety that management are going to see me as a “gossiper” as they can probably work out who told her, as I’m friends with one school Mum in the group chat. I felt like I was doing the right thing at the time but now I just have a whole bunch of anxiety about it.
