What do you wish you knew before you got pregnant?

I'm 23 and just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant! And I was just wondering what you all wish you knew before you had a baby?

Pregnancy is hard, birth is hard, but neither is nearly as hard as breastfeeding or showing up to parent everyday 😜. But it is also the best job in the world!

I wish I had been better educated about prenatal care and physiological birth so I could have actually advocated for myself and possibly avoided the metric ton of birth trauma from my first. 
I also wish I knew how painful pregnancy itself can be and that it's not all this sunshine roses miracle of life stuff.

Unlike every job you've had, you will never get a day off. Being on the clock 24/7 is hard.

also prepare to lose your friends. your friends will never care about your baby as much as you do and that will cause tension.
