Membrane sweep at 37 weeks
Today my OBGYN performed a membrane sweep because I want to avoid being induced next week on November 9th. I’m having twins so my doctor doesn’t want me to go past 39 weeks for the babies safety. I’m currently 4cm dilated and 70% effaced. The sweep went well, it wasn’t painful just pressure. Did anyone else get a sweep and how soon after did labor/water break happen for you? Is there anything I can do to encourage labor to come faster?
