Does baby eat less when they have cold?

If so do you increase their milk intake? Formula or BF? Because he does not want water and solids right now. Just afraid that it will make a habit of drinking more formula, we started weaning then he caught a cold.

Just make sure he’s staying hydrated with the appropriate number of wet diapers. Babies and toddlers get dehydrated quickly! But yes. It is totally normal. Offer as much formula as he will take.

You need to focus on breast milk/ formula when babe is sick. Don’t push solids. 
Babe will eat solids again when feeling better.

Yeah I give my little boy as much milk as he wants. He is a really good eater but immediately goes off his food when he's feeling under the weather.

I even let my toddler drink more cows milk when she’s sick and her appetite isn’t great. At least I know she’s getting some good calories/nutrients.
