Gestational Hypertension
Hello! So I was diagnosed with Gestational Hypertension at 22 weeks. This is my first pregnancy (<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>/male embryo). I am currently 35 weeks and was never prescribed medications. I have been sent to the ER for monitoring four times, weirdest thing is you can take my
Pressure three times within a couple minutes apart and get three very different readings (for example, 160/100 then 135/90 then 122/84 all within a few minutes). I have absolutely no symptoms. I’m currently being monitored with weekly NST, BPPs - was told to induce at 37 weeks. Baby looks great, and bloodwork shows no sign of pre-eclampsia. Is any of this normal? How can my BP change so rapidly in such short time? The further I get along into my pregnancy, the lowest my Bp has been is 135-138/90- but the highest it will be in the first time it’s taken or after I have moved/walked. Am I supposed to just lie down all day?
