Do you care if your boyfriend/husband has close friends that are female?

Do you care if your bf/husband is very close friends with another woman? 
They text or talk on the phone often. They hang out without you. They have inside jokes. They have been friends for years.

My husband and I agreed when we got engaged that we wouldn’t ever have close friends of the opposite sex. Family is different of course. But neither he or I are even marginally close to someone of the opposite sex other than each other. I trust my husband completely. We just feel that it only invites trouble and problems so we drew that line and we are happy with it. It actually helps my husband a lot too because he was cheated on a few times before he and I met, so it just gives him that much more confidence and security in our relationship knowing the only man I’m close to is him.

Really just depends if he knew her before me, That’s fine I wouldn’t intrude that . But anybody after me is skeptical.. it’s just like why do you need so many friends that are girls?

He doesn’t, but I wouldn’t care so much if he did because I have close friends that are male too. One was in my bridal party.

I feel like it depends on the friendship. Even if they've been friends before yall dated, pay attention to their behavior. Are they touchy, flirty, is she a pick me girl? If so, I personally wouldn't like it. If not, it's probably harmless 🤷‍♀️ 
You both also need to have a talk about it if you haven't already. My fiancee has a close female friend who he use to date back in high school. He told me about her once we made our relationship official and asked if I was okay with it, and if I wasn't, he would drop her. I ended up meeting her (literally just to observe her) and I decided she was a genuine person. 
So it's really up to you if care about it or not. If it bothers you, then speak up. It's okay to have boundaries

It would be odd to me because we just don’t have a life like that. Even before marriage he wasn’t a social person. He was about family and gym. And that’s what he is still like.

I think it’s one thing if they’ve been friends a long time, especially if you’re in a new relationship and they were clearly they are way before you were, nobody has feelings for anyone, they are friends with you as well, you can hang out with them and you see their body language and how they react with each other and you’ve realize that there is no harm. It’s another thing if he’s picking up new women at the gym or work, wanting to have a night out on the town with them alone while you stay home alone. I absolutely believe that men and women can only be friends and nothing more, however if she’s a side chick that’s a different story obviously. Unless you have an open relationship.￼
