Last week I had my first ultrasound. The US tech said that she sees mono/mono twins but one passed away the week prior at around 6 weeks 4 days. She said the other twin is perfectly fine measuring on track at 7w4d & a heartbeat of 135. She said it’s super rare to see this Bc usually if they are mono/mono, they both usually pass. But she made it seem that since the one is going strong that nothing should affect it. My question is-has anyone been in my exact position before? With losing one mono/mono twin and the other one perfectly fine unaffected?

I go again in two weeks for another scan. Prayers all is fine with the surviving twin🙏🏼💙

Also, I know this could very well have been mono/di twins as sometimes the membrane doesn’t show up until a little later, too.
