how to stop hormonal acne??

i originally started the pill for my acne and ive decided to get off of it as i’ve been on for a while. however, i’m starting to breakout again and i’m not sure what to do. i really do not want to go back on it!!

I think genetics, age, and skin care have a significant impact on acne. Maybe schedule an appointment with a dermatologist? I did invest quite a bit in skin care products. Had a lot of trial and error to figure out which worked best post-pill. 
There are other types of birth control too besides the pill. You can discuss with your doctor options, if you’re ever ever interested in getting back on.

I too went through that stage and I noticed that certain food would make my skin worse. Junk food, greasy food and dairy would give me inflammation. Find a good face wash that you can use everyday (I use neutregena daily face wash) and I exfoliate a couple times a week with a face brush … seems to be working for me.
