Okay hello <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a>,

I literally never do this ever but the internet search bar isnt helping me so I guess I will ask here.

I'm 19 and I'm introducing my first boyfriend to my parents. Sort of.

My parents are Filipino, and are very conservative in the aspect of dating so my dad wants someone who is interested in me to meet him first. And i get it honestly and so does my boyfriend.

I'm just worried for a couple reasons:

- My boyfriend majors in Philosphy, and he does this because he loves it. But, he doesn't have much of a plan with his degree. I am okay with it because I'm going into business, but like I said my parents are conservative so they might not like him for his studies.

- I met him online. Though my friends know and have met him before once, we met through playing video games and he's from across the united states. I'm not sure if my parents will like the fact that I'm dating someone from so far away (and my parents paranoia about cheating will be... interesting to say the least).

- He's 3 years older than me (currently 22,,, and i'm 19. Not that there's anything wrong with that but... yeah)

Any advice on how to introduce him and go about these worries?
