I’m getting so fed up. My husband has 2 daughters from his first marriage (16 & 6) and we have a 15 month old together. The 16 year old screamed and cursed at us last week because we weren’t able to drive her somewhere. (In front of the younger kids) She didn’t get in trouble for this. Her room is disgusting. She’s been told probably 10 times to clean it and brings a few things up but it’s nowhere near clean. She used to have the chore of doing the dishes everyday but he doesn’t even make her do that anymore I told my husband to tell her if she doesn’t clean her room tonight then she’s not going anywhere this weekend. He gets mad at me and says I’m just picking at her. If the younger ones do something wrong he will say something right away but she could get away with murder. So now he’s mad at me and not her. I’m fuming. Shouldn’t a 16 year old be able to keep her room clean? Am I asking too much? After being asked 10 times isn’t time to give her an ultimatum?? I’m beyond fed up.
