Has anyone waited until 20 weeks to tell family your pregnant?

So I found out I’m pregnant about 4 weeks told my husband of course but don’t want to tell my family for a while(very judgmental) thinking about waiting until I’m in the clear 20weeks+ but i do want to have a gender reveal and a baby shower…
Has anyone waited this long & how’d your family take it? Did you still have a baby shower or gender reveal?

Just tell them when you’re ready! Don’t be afraid to share your joy due to fear. I told ppl at different stages and I haven’t told some ppl incl friends and family at all. (Currently 22 weeks).
I’m not doing a gender reveal or baby shower but it’s never too late to do them. I heard the best time to do them is actually in the second trimester, so you have time☺️ & congratulations! 
Bare in mind that telling others you’re pregnant can be very joyous but can also end up being very stressful. If I could go back and tell nobody, I would because I despise unsolicited opinions and ppl tryna tell me what to do/how I should do things😂 I’m too private for this shit.

This baby I really want to wait till 20 weeks but I show so early🤣
 last baby I looked 9 months at 23 weeks. This is my fourth so I think I'll show even faster 😅

I'm in the same situation just over 4 weeks and if all goes well I won't be telling anyone until I can't hide it anymore. I'm most scared of my mother's reaction 😅😅

We waited till 13 weeks. I'm 16 weeks now and it wilde be hard to hide it. Maybe if I wore big sweaters all the time🤭

i’m 19 weeks and have no said anything to any family member but my mom and sister. everyone just sort of picked up on it but no one flat out asked me. I didn’t just tell everyone bc my family is church people and this is my third baby and I have toddlers lol. but it is what it is. I have not announced on social media and don’t plan on it until baby arrives but even then maybe not that. I just want to be more private this go round for my own reasons

Me and my husband told my mum almost immediately but we told the rest of the family at 10 weeks. We couldn’t keep it a secret any longer.

I told those closest to us. But the other people won't know until much later on, if at all. You do what is best for you!!
