Hey ladies so I know this may be a hard conversation for me, however I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with conceiving post chemo. I am 26 years old and currently battling stage 3 grade 2 breast cancer. I am on my 4th round come Monday of Red Devil chemo followed by 12 rounds of Taxol. After this I am set for a double mastectomy with radiation to follow. I just want to know that there is hope for fertility post treatment. And before it is mentioned I turned down speaking with a fertility specialist prior because of not wanting to delay my treatment and not wanting to fuel my cancer with hormones to retrieve eggs (as my cancer is hormone based). Please be kind as I understand I still have plenty of months ahead before even trying. And if it comes that I am infertile after treatment then I am at least thankful that I have my almost 3 year old daughter 🥰 she is my biggest blessing
