What’s the explination behind babe needs to eat what you eat?

Babe don’t wanna touch his food sometimes. But when I give him food from my plate. He eats it. I just can’t give him what we eat for now. We are doing BLW as well.

We don’t want to set the precedent that kids eat differently from parents.  We’re not making two meals all the time!!  It’s hard enough to make one meal for everyone!  Our dude eats what we eat 99% of the time including really spicy food (curries, spicy pasta) and loves it.  We’ve feed him exciting adult food even as purées (with no salt) from the get go.  It’s definitely worked well for us.

I read it’s a biological thing developed for safety. They know good is safe because you’re eating it. Idk how true that is. I think kids just like copying mom and dad sometimes.
