How do you explain to a doctor something is wrong
I don’t quite know how to explain it… but I feel like something is wrong. Normally I’m not the type to go to the doctor unless something is bothering me or wrong in the way of I have actually needed medication for an ear infection etc.
The past few months, I’ve just felt like something is wrong. Off if you will. Not like it’s heart related or anything… it’s one of the hardest things to describe.
I’m 38 years old and take zero medication for anything. I’ve never had a surgery. I’ve had 3 children naturally…I am overweight, bp normal, sugars normal… bloodwork normal…but by all definitions I’m a “healthy” overweight almost 40 year old.
What I would like is an MRI… but I know those aren’t generally something that’s used unless for good reason. My “something might be wrong” isn’t good enough. It’s just one of those things that I feel there is something wrong.
Symptoms…. Idk if they’d be considered such…
I will sometimes feel dizzy or faint… when sitting. Sometimes I will blink and my vision will go fuzzy for a second. I blink again and it’s gone. I don’t sleep well (I work 12 hour night shifts) but I get 4 to 6 hours depending. Sometimes I will get waves of hot or waves of cold. Bp is checked when these things happen and it’s fine. So idk. Anyone ever had anything like this or have suggestions on how to approach the doc with this? Thanks.
