Pregnant with toddler?

Question

I'm only 3 weeks pregnant but already so tired and not able to keep up with my toddlers. I feel so guilty, how are you all dealing with that?

My son was just turning 3 when I started getting reaaallly sick with my second pregnancy. I had HG and felt like crap for all but maybe 2-3 weeks of my pregnancy. Honestly I handled it like shit. I couldn’t actively play, pick him up, or do much of anything that required standing for more than 5 minutes. My husband and family gave him the majority of attention. I tried my hardest. It really sucked. When we brought our tiny newborn daughter home my 3.5 year old looked like a kid. Not my sweet little toddler, a kid. I bawled. I missed out on 9 months of my son’s toddlerhood, snuggles, and attention because I was sick. It’s been a month and I’m still so upset with myself. I made sure he knew I loved him and still do, he may not even remember how mommy couldn’t pick him up or play like he got used to for a while, but I always will. Now when the baby is asleep I’ll take some of the time I should be sleeping myself to go crawl in my son’s bed and snuggle him.

I just survived. I had so much guilt because I was sick, but I tried to remind myself it won't last forever. It's temporary and it absolutely sucks, but it'll pass.

oh I have two toddlers and pregnant with number three. it was difficult bc of how tired I was in first trimester but I now feel better it’s still a little difficult but I manage. i’m at the halfway mark now

I feel you. I‘m 16 weeks with a 20 month old toddler and I was so miserable due to my severe nausea! We stayed home a lot and I let him watch TV, because I just couldn‘t do it. But I feel much better now and I feel like I have a life again. You just gotta do what you gotta do to survive and cut yourself some slack! Some days are hard, but remember that there WILL be good days again too!

I am 34 weeks pregnant and I have a 2 year old (as of next week!) On days where I’m struggling I try to encourage her to have lots of cuddles on the sofa with me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Then when I have a bit more energy I take her to the park or we bake together, to try to make up for it. Just take each day as it comes!

I'm 22 weeks . Have a 3.5 yr old and a 18 month old.Its easy to me tbh and I do it all alone no help from anyone. 😁
