Pre eclampsia??

Question

I have been struggling with high BP numbers around 145/100 for about two days. I have no swelling or any other of the symptoms I see listed but is there a chance I still have it? This is my first and I am nervous

Presence/absence of symptoms won't tell you for sure whether or not you have pre-eclampsia. You could have high BP and no pre-eclampsia. You could have high BP and no pre-eclampsia right now, but develop pre-eclampsia later in pregnancy. You could have pre-eclampsia right now. Only a doctor can tell you for sure.

I'm assuming you have reported this to your OB or midwife, and they are following you with necessary monitoring/lab work/ultrasounds. 
If you're less than 20 weeks pregnant, it would be defined as pre-gestational hypertension. If you're more than 20 weeks pregnant, it would be gestational hypertension. Either type of hypertension can also develop pre e, either with or without "severe features" (the headache, treatable blood pressure, abnormal lab work.) 
All that being said, if you do develop any signs of pre e, I'd report to your OB ED or L and D triage and let them notify your provider.

It might just be pregnancy induced hypertension. But I would keep an eye on it just in case. Get some tests done protein levels checked etc

I had preeclampsia at the very end of my pregnancy. Had to be induced at 37 weeks. 
The only thing I had noticed was a lot of swelling in my feet and face. 
I went to the hospital for something else (bloody discahrge) and they checked my urine & found I had high protein levels. They also noticed my blood pressure being high off and on. Both of those things told them I had preeclampsia. 
I don’t know if this helps. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Comment above me is very true. I had chronic hypertension before pregnancy. I developed preeclampsia week 36. This was diagnosed through urine and blood tests. I had no symptoms except high blood pressure and protein in my urine. If you’re concerned you should encourage your obgyn to explore more. I
