For moms who had an ECV performed: Was it successful, and when did you have it done? Any complications?

I've read that 37 weeks is the sweet spot for a successful procedure, but my provider isn't planning on offering it until I'm 39 weeks if baby hasn't flipped on his own. This makes me nervous because I'm petite and I already feel like he's out of room as it is.

I've been doing exercises recommended by Spinning Babies, but thus far I'm 99% certain his head is still right up top.
