Hi everyone. I was told at my 20 week scan that I had a low lying placenta. It wasn’t completely covering the cervix, but they told me they would scan me again at 32 weeks (which is next week) to check and see if it’s moved. Yesterday, I had some brown discharge after walking (school run) and it turned to pink, so I called my hospital and they asked me to come in. It stopped while I was in the hospital and everything was fine with the baby so they sent me home. I’ve had it again today, the exact same way and time, and they have said not to worry unless I have pain or the bleeding gets worse. It’s stopped again now.

I just wondered whether anyone else with a low lying placenta have had the same? I don’t know for sure that I have a low placenta anymore as it could have moved, or that it’s what is causing the spotting. Any insight? Thanks 😊
