Can’t carry boys?

May sound a silly question but is it possible you can’t carry a certain gender?

Honestly I’m not sure but my babysitter has had I think two or three miscarriages and they were all boys and she has two living daughters and she strongly believes she just can’t carry boys, I wonder if there is any research in this or if it’s just coincidence.
