Hello,

I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks after taking

about 4 different at home tests. At 5 weeks and 2

days I noticed some very mild light bleeding when

I went to use the potty that lasted about 6 hours.

I'm now 6 weeks and 3 days, today, and the light

bleeding comes on and off but never lasts more

than 2-3 hours in one day and it never progresses

into heavier bleeding or consists of any clots. I

went to the ER to get it looked into. They

performed a pelvic exam to see if the cervix was

opened or closed (it was closed), did a

transvaginal ultrasound to only find an empty

intrauterine sac (unsure if a yolk sac was present

or not, they didn't tell me), and then some blood

work in which my Hg levels were 11,000 at the

time. Since that appointment, i've still had this on

and off light bleeding or spotting. It'll come for a

few hours, then stop for a period of maybe 3-4

days, and then come again. No accompany

cramps or any other pain really. I'm not really

having any other pregnancy symptoms other than

a bit of nausea and fatigue maybe.

I'd also like to mention that the bleeding isn't

consistent enough for a pad or even a panty liner,

it's only when i go pee and I guess i'm kinda like

force squeezing it out. I never see it in my

underwear. I read somewhere that a blighted ovum symptoms was light bleeding or spotting. Does it sound like the start of one?
