I was hoping that someone, who has or will be taking 18 month maternity leave can tell me how the payments work? In the past I've taken the 12 month leave only, and my pay remained the same amount the entire time. For the government of Canada employees, is it the scenario for 18 month leave vs. non-governmental employees?
