So I did my first bloodwork yesterday. Was sent to ER as precaution since obgyn didnt have any appts until after Christmas. No miscarriage symptoms or indicators just light "tugging" which I later discovered was gas..ER doctor said my hcg numbers were "very very low" at 584 at 4 weeks. Have to retest tomorrow and I'm scared. No other issues..no bleeding or spotting. Doctor was very dry and had a terrible bedside manner and did not reassure me AT ALL. The nurses were wonderful,and one tried to advise that it may just be too early and she didnt know why I was sent to ER especially if I wasn't bleeding or spotting. The part that fucked me up, he kept repeating what the ultrasound tech wrote "No gestational sac found, too early to detect, doubt ectopic". But he never said congratulations or "you know you just have to give it time", nothing like that. It was very formal, almost robotic.

Waiting to schedule my actual/REAL first OBGYN possibly in 2 weeks at a further facility which is cool... but one 6 hour visit AND that kind of doctor drained almost all hope. Like I'm really thinking the worst. I have PCOS so this was a shocker for us and we were super excited. I had to tell my s/o and he's extremely supportive....I just cant shake this sad feeling.

Update: today (11/23), my hcg levels were 1,336. So a good jump I would say. Still waiting for an obgyn appt. Pregnant ladies apparently dont cancel shit lol. But I will keep you updated.
