So today my coworker and I had opening shifts… for the past week or so she’s been giving me a real negative vibe like an “I don’t like you vibe” .. today as I was opening the gate she walked right by me without saying a word and I whispered “okay…” as confused as I was because I felt the attitude. I just started working here and haven’t had any problems with anyone (nor am I looking for one) … but today my coworker confronted me saying “is there an issue?” And I said “idk I’d like to ask you that ?”, she then said “last week I said good morning twice and you didn’t say anything” (I heard her once and said gm back), she also said that I didn’t say gm to her today when she walked by and that I didn’t let her know that I picked up the money from the vault for the register, and that I didn’t say hi to her at Starbucks because apparently she was there . She complains about all this yet when I’ve said gm or goodbye she just says “mmmhmm” to anything I say, even when I say thank you which is pretty much telling me she has something against me. She said today “I don’t know what it is but I don’t appreciate the animosity … you just started working here..” I ended it by saying that I said gm to her and that I never saw her at Starbucks. I feel like she thinks I owe her something when it’s her who’s had this attitude towards me. Even when I went to my interview and said hello to everyone she was the most negative one who didn’t even smile or say hi she just stared at me with a resting bitch face. Tbh I give good vibes and I’m pretty and I think she is jealous of both. Some females are like that… anyways after that I felt awkward and even a bit put down that this girl confronted me with an attitude and made me feel like I’m the one with the problem. I’m new and I don’t want my reputation tainted. What should I do, shoul I confide in my supervisor and tell him about this ? Or what? This whole thing ruined my day. On top of all this she’s been taking all the sales, we are supposed to take turns and she just takes the customers without considering me, I don’t know what to make of this situation that made me feel uncomfortable and confused all day . Any advice?
