Is it normal?
Hi ladies and congratulations to all new moms! I hope you’re all doing good and I’m sure you’re all giving your best in these difficult first weeks of our babies lives!! 💙
I am a FTM and I have a question about fussy/restless baby time. So…my boy was born at 42 weeks on Nov 2nd. He is not very difficult but not easy, just normal, has his crazy nights sometimes, and sometimes sleeps good and wakes only to feed. Since he was born maybe 2-3 times so far, he had something I would call cluster feeding or could be colic but he was eating every 1 hour and couldn’t get enough…(I am breastfeeding and I definitely have enough of milk, a bit too much). I think that’s perfectly fine but is it normal to lasts for many hours at a time? For example, last time it happened he didn’t sleep for more than 10 hours, he was so active, didn’t cry a lot, just wide awake, irritated, breathing fast, working with his hands and feet hitting his crib, super strong, super agitated. If I feed him he calms down for few minutes but then just immediately wakes up and continues the same. Is that normal? I don’t really know how these sleepless nights supposed to look like.
