It just occurred to me that I may give head in a weird position.. always with lights off and in bed, him laying flat on his back and me bent down still kinda laying on the bed and sucking his dick if that makes sense. How does everyone else do it ?

I switch it up. 
Sometimes he just stands and I’m on my knees. (In the room or shower)
Sometimes he’s sitting and I’m on my knees between his legs. (Couch, chair, edge of bed, shower seat)
Sometimes he’s laying on his back and I sit on my legs between his legs.
Sometimes he’s on his back while I angle myself next to him so that my butt is up by his face so he can play with me.

I do it in whatever position he happens to be in at the time lmao just like you said if I want to wake him up (we both have full consent to do so), on my knees if he's standing, kneeling between his knees if he's sitting. Whatever is comfortable at the time lol
