Does anyone else have a posterior/retroverted uterus to the point that the baby isn’t seen on abdominal ultrasounds until second trimester? My first was born in May of 2020 and we had to have an 11W3D vaginal ultrasound due to the inability to find her on the doppler abdominally. Fast forward to now, I’m 8W1D with number two and she could only see my uterus, but not what’s in it. We’ve already confirmed the pregnancy is viable via my vaginal ultrasound at 6W, but I’m just curious… when could you see your LO via abdominal ultrasound with a posterior uterus?
