Ovulated…now spotting

I’m sorry if this is not the right group for this. Is there anyone else out there who ovulates right before their AF? I just hit peak on Sunday CD24. Now I’m spotting. Before my peak, the app said af was supposed to start Sunday. Put it in (in the app) that I got peak. Now it says my period is supposed to start around the 16. Am I just really stupid??? Is this not normal?
