Uncomfy

5 months ago my mom offered me a desk job at a nursing home because most of the office workers had left over health problems/thinking my mom is a crazy bitch(it was a very juicy resignation letter). I worked in housekeeping, hospitality, and as a cook on and off all throughout high school whenever she was dangerously short staffed and I only worked for 1-3 months at a time so I thought that was what was gonna happen.

I was just supposed to do payroll and invoice entry/payment until they found a qualified replacement, and that was my job until I turned 18 when she started expecting me to “mature into adult responsibilities”. At first that meant balancing company credit cards and bank statements, which admittedly was fun because I fuckin love spreadsheets. But now I’m dealing with government entities and checks of $10,000 on the regular and I’m just a stupid fuckin kid having to ask the nice lady on the phone what an [insert letter(s)]-[insert numbers] form is several times because my “boss” never trained me on anything. And if I fuck up on a quarterly reporting site(which has more format requirements than my 8th grade Language arts teacher), the nursing home could go bankrupt. If I miss a deadline, we get a $47,000 fine. I can’t handle this.
