Anyone have a scheduled c section at 36 weeks?? Did your baby have to stay in the Nicu?

My c section will be scheduled at 36 weeks 2 days the beginning of January and I’m really worried if he will have to stay in the Nicu. I will be getting steroid shots around 35 weeks for his lungs also.
Was your baby fine being born at 36 weeks? Or did they have to stay in the Nicu?

I had to deliver at 36 weeks due to fetal distress( was already high risk) & it was my 3rd C-section. Baby girl was in the NICU for a couple days b4 they released her to go home. I did have to get the steroid shots b4 hand to help her lungs mature.

Had a c section at 36+6 and babe was great and no nicu stay. She also weighed 7 lbs 1 oz 😳

I had both my kids natural but both were born at 36 weeks. They were 7lbs 6oz. They never had to go to NICU.

I had to have a emergency c section at 36 weeks 4 days. Baby was born weighing 4lbs5oz and didn’t need any NICU time.
