Okay Soo , I keep getting different answers lol , I went to my first appointment today. ( I’m in Ohio ) I checked and googled to see if my insurance ( UHC ) did the NPIT testing. Which they do. And it changed back in 2021 whew you don’t have to pay and all doctors should ask about it right and you have the right to say yes or no…. So she asked us about Down syndrome and if we wanted to test for like trisomy 13 &18 etc. and we said yes. Now when I google this. It’s says it’s the NPIT testing which clearly means I can find out the gender of my child also… but a lot of people are saying it’s not true and they with hold that information or don’t test for the gender.. when the do this.
