When my SO & I tried for our first baby I got pregnant in the first cycle. I tested with the First Response brand pink dye tests. I tested from 6dpo & on. I got a noticeable faint line at 6dpo & it only got darker from there. With my second child I also got pregnant in the first cycle. We weren’t necessarily trying because it was random chance & I wasn’t tracking my ovulation at that time. However I did notice that the day we ended up having sex was the exact peak day of my ovulation according to glow. I was very busy that month & forgot all about it. I was 2 days late for my period & tested with some random brand of pink dye test. There was a very faint line there. Now we are trying for our third & we had sex 3 times during my ovulation. I tested again like the first pregnancy starting at 6dpo. I have gotten nothing but negatives. No faint lines whatsoever. I’m wondering if this will be the first time that we don’t get pregnant in the first cycle. I started testing with the clear blue brand tests & they were all negative so I switched starting yesterday to the First response pink dye tests & both negative yesterday & today. I feel like based on the time I found out I was pregnant with my second child because the line was so faint & I was 2 days late for my period if that is gonna be the case here. What do you ladies think? What was your experience with testing early? Did you get negative Las until after your missed period?
