I’m doing it for the times that I won’t be home watching him, having him babysat by family or out in public, I still plan on pumping my breast milk for him, but have bottles ready for that!

I’d recommend having one on hand for emergencies. I had to go to the hospital at 9days pp and am really glad I had some milk saved (from milk catchers while nursing) and bottles on hand, because the first night I was there I couldn’t have her with me and my husband had to bottle feed her. I say plan for the worst, hope for the best.

Mine wouldn’t latch when I got home from the hospital and had to pump for a couple weeks so it’s best to be prepared for just in case

i didn’t use bottles at first and now 9 months down the road my baby will not use any type of bottle. doesn’t matter what kind or who gives it. so i can’t leave the baby obviously and have hardly left my house in 9 months. definitely pump and use bottles here and there so baby will take both breast and bottle!

I breastfed fully, and we used bottles as well. I went back to work, and baby still needed to eat while I was working. 🤷‍♀️

I would get a few, You may need them even if you don’t plan to bottle feed much. you never know how things will play out. I planned to breastfeed but had to mostly exclusively pump for a few months due to several issues including jaundice, oral ties, weight gain problems etc.

I always have a bottle just in case. My third only used a bottle maybe 10 times but it was nice to not have to go out and buy one when I needed it. My daughter was in the hospital so my family had to watch my son. 
I’d suggest having a bottle!
